With the presence of Mayor Francisco Azcué, the delivery of certificates for Soft Skills training aimed at municipal agents took place, promoted by the Talent Area of the Directorate of Innovation and Knowledge Economy in coordination with the Municipal Coordination of Public Administration. In addition, the presentation of the Concordia Innovation Academy was held.
The activity was attended by the Secretary of Cabinet and Treasury Coordination, Cr. Pablo Ferreyra, and the Director of Innovation and Knowledge Economy, Lic. Pedro Kohn.
During the meeting, municipal workers who participated in the training sessions developed throughout the year were recognized. The program aimed to strengthen staff competencies to advance towards a more modern, efficient, and community-oriented local government.
Throughout 2025, more than 500 agents from more than 20 municipal areas—including Security, Government Secretariat, Health, Revenue, and various administrative departments—were trained in topics related to communication, self-awareness, conflict resolution, and Artificial Intelligence tools, among others.
CONCORDIA INNOVATION ACADEMY
Within the framework of the event, the Concordia Innovation Academy was formally presented, a new institutional space that will concentrate all internal training and community training proposals. The initiative represents a strategic step in the modernization of the municipal government and in the strengthening of local human capital.
The Academy will work under two central axes:
Internal training for municipal agents, aimed at strengthening technical competencies, communication, leadership, work methodologies, and digital tools for modern public management.
External training aimed at the community, related to the knowledge economy, employability, soft skills, and personal and professional development.
Regarding the initiative, the Coordinator of the Talent Area, Lic. and Prof. Diamantina Miño, stated: "This means materializing what has already been worked on for many years from this directorate."
For his part, the Director of Innovation and Knowledge Economy, Pedro Kohn, stated: "A citizen will be able to enter the portal and choose to learn software, robotics, artificial intelligence, soft skills, digital marketing, among other training proposals."
With these actions, the Municipality of Concordia reaffirms its commitment to inclusive, innovative public management prepared for the challenges of the future, strengthening policies that promote development, continuous improvement, and better service for all residents.
