The Municipality of Concordia, through the Bromatology Directorate, in order to preserve the health of the population, warns about the possible Foodborne Diseases (FBDs) that may arise with high temperatures.
Under these conditions, microorganisms can multiply rapidly in food when stored at room temperature. At temperatures below 5ºC, microbial growth is significantly reduced.
RECOMMENDATIONS
To avoid risks, it is recommended:
Do not expose perishable food to room temperature
Refrigerate perishable and cooked food as soon as possible (ideally below 5°C.)
Do not thaw food at room temperature. Do so inside the refrigerator or using the microwave
Keep refrigerated those foods whose packaging indicates "keep refrigerated" or "refrigerate after opening".
