The Municipality of Concordia, through the Employment Directorate, has launched a new training course in painting as part of the “Arma tu Oficio” program, a proposal that is part of the actions promoted within the Infrastructure and Development Plan towards the Bicentennial, aimed at strengthening job training and generating new opportunities for the residents of the city.
The activity is taking place at the Convention Center, with significant participation from attendees interested in acquiring technical knowledge on painting, surface preparation, types of materials, and professional application techniques.
The Employment Director of the Municipality of Concordia, Juan Manuel Scarzello, highlighted the importance of these training sessions and noted that “from the municipal administration, we continue to generate concrete opportunities so that more Concordia residents can be trained in trades with quick labor market entry. We are committed to training as a tool for inclusion, personal development, and economic growth for many families.”
Likewise, he remarked that “these policies are integrated into a strategic plan that seeks to support the growth of Concordia with more infrastructure, more development, and greater opportunities for our community.”
For his part, the instructor José Mattia expressed his satisfaction with the turnout and stated that “it is very positive to see the interest that these types of proposals generate. Painting is a trade with high demand, and this workshop aims for participants to take away applicable knowledge from the first day, both to work as employees and independently.”
The training will continue on April 18th with a second session where practical content and specific techniques of the trade will be deepened.
With these actions, the Municipality of Concordia reaffirms its commitment to job training, trade education, and the generation of new opportunities for the residents of the city.
