Around 9:00 PM, personnel from the Decentralized Sanitary Works Entity concluded the repair work on a main pipe of the discharge network, which had been damaged during the expansion work of the sewer network in the Parque Río Uruguay neighborhood. The company in charge of the work reported the malfunction that occurred at Salto Uruguayo and Victorino Simón, and EDOS immediately arranged for repair tasks.
The work continued throughout this Monday afternoon, during which time the water supply network was affected as the booster pumps had to be turned off. Once the work was completed, the pumps were reactivated and the service is progressively returning to normal throughout the city.
The agency expressed its gratitude for the public's understanding regarding this unforeseen event and highlighted the work carried out by the staff, who worked against the clock to resolve the malfunction.
