What is the Participatory Budget?

It is a citizen participation mechanism that operates as a space to invite people to take part and share their opinions to improve public management.

The Municipal Executive Department will determine, as it deems appropriate, the topics to be considered by citizens in this consultation process, which may be: a) policies, programs, projects or plans, b) draft ordinances, or c) matters of general interest. The results of the Citizen Consultation will serve as input for the decisions the Executive Department must make in this regard, but will never be binding.
