The Municipality of Concordia, through the Department of Policies for the Elderly, invites the community to participate in the Handicrafts Workshop: Knitted Cockades, a proposal designed to celebrate the Month of the Fatherland by promoting creativity, gathering, and the revaluation of our traditions.
The activity will take place on Thursday, April 30th at 2:00 PM, in the Labor Training Room of the Civic Center (Mitre and Pellegrini, 1st floor), and will be led by workshop instructor Noelia Gómez.
This space seeks to generate an environment for active participation, especially aimed at older adults, where the learning of knitting techniques and the creation of cockades, a patriotic symbol that identifies us as Argentines, is encouraged.
In this regard, the head of the Department of Policies for the Elderly, Gladys Portugal, highlighted: “These types of workshops not only promote creativity, but also generate spaces for meeting and support for our older adults, strengthening bonds and community participation.”
Likewise, she added: “Within the framework of the Month of the Fatherland, we seek to revalue our traditions through activities that allow sharing knowledge and keeping our customs alive.”
Registration is carried out in person at the offices of the Department of Senior Citizen Policies.
The municipality invites all those interested to join this proposal, which combines culture, identity, and community in a space for learning and celebration.
