The Municipality of Concordia, in conjunction with BBVA Bank, will carry out the workshop “Learn to take care of your money”, a proposal designed to strengthen the financial inclusion of senior citizens and provide key tools for the secure management of their income.
The activity will take place on Wednesday, March 25th at 9:00 a.m. at the Concordia Convention Center (San Lorenzo “O” No. 101). The session will feature a presentation by Master in Finance Maximiliano Rodríguez, manager of the BBVA Bank Concordia branch, who will address content related to income management, the responsible use of banking services, and fraud prevention.
The head of the Department of Senior Citizen Policies, Gladys Portugal, emphasized: “It is very important to create these spaces where senior citizens can acquire simple but fundamental knowledge to manage their money with peace of mind and confidence. We are committed to providing them with tools that improve their autonomy in daily life”.
In the same vein, the Director of Citizen Attention and Consumer Defense, Dr. Guido Di Gioia, stated: “Financial inclusion is not only about having access, but also knowing how to use the tools appropriately and securely. From the municipality, we promote these spaces to strengthen the autonomy of residents, promote the exercise of their rights as consumers, and prevent fraud. This workshop is designed specifically for senior citizens, with the goal of reducing the digital divide and facilitating their inclusion in the use of financial tools”.
The workshop has limited spots for 50 people. Registration is carried out on the first floor of the Concordia Civic Center, at the offices of the Department of Senior Citizen Policies.
The Municipality of Concordia continues to promote these types of initiatives that foster inclusion, access to rights, and a better quality of life for senior citizens.
