They will take place on June 4, 5, and 6, organized jointly by the Municipality of Concordia, the NGO “Luz del Ibirá,” and the Faculty of Food Sciences of the National University of Entre Ríos (UNER).
With the presence of Mayor Francisco Azcué, the Municipality of Concordia, in conjunction with the NGO “Luz del Ibirá” and the local branch of the National University of Entre Ríos (UNER), presented the 9th edition of the International Environment Fair “ECO Ciencias 2025,” which will be held on June 4 and 5 at the Convention Center, and the “1st Wild Food Conference,” which will take place on June 6 at the UNER Faculty of Food Sciences, within the framework of Environment Week.
In this regard, Mayor Francisco Azcué stated that “events like the International Environment Fair foster shared learning among institutions, youth, and the citizenry. Public policies are enriched when they are developed together with NGOs, foundations, and universities. Institutions represent citizens committed to the common good, which is why, under our administration, we carry out various joint actions with them to achieve different objectives.”
For her part, the Undersecretary of Environment Constanza Montoreano remarked that “we have been working with the entire team to reach the participation of around 80 projects that will be part of the fair,” which, like every edition, will have local, regional, provincial, national, and international participation.
Romina Luna Tarabini, a member of the NGO “Luz del Ibirá,” pointed out that “it is a source of pride for the association to be part of the planning of the Fair. On this occasion, we have far exceeded expectations because we have a record number of registrations where students from the city and different institutions will exhibit, and it will be visited by local schools of all levels.”
Finally, Romina Bacigalupo, Secretary of Extension at UNER, indicated that as an institution “it is very important to be able to open the doors of the Faculty of Food Sciences and invite all national and foreign congregations to get to know us, tour the laboratories, among other actions. At the same time, I want to highlight the work of the food laboratory that offers the first conference on food and beverages.”
