The Municipality of Concordia will carry out the second edition of the intergenerational meeting “Juntos de la Mano”, a proposal aimed at promoting exchange, shared learning, and the strengthening of bonds between children and senior citizens.
The activity will take place on Monday, October 26, from 9:15 to 11:30, at Plaza Sol, located at Entre Ríos 1187, with the participation of the Child Development Centers (CDI) Rincón de Luz and Trencito de Colores.
Under the slogan “When generations embrace, smiles bloom”, the day seeks to create a meeting space where different generations can share games, experiences, and moments of enjoyment, fostering the construction of affective bonds and the exchange of knowledge.
In this regard, Gladys Portugal, head of the Department of Policies for the Elderly, highlighted the importance of promoting this type of initiative that favors the meeting between generations: “These spaces allow us to strengthen bonds, share experiences, and generate moments of joy between children and senior citizens. The exchange between generations enriches everyone and contributes to building a more integrated and solidary community.”
The initiative is organized by the Directorate of Childhood, Adolescence and Family and the Department of Policies for the Elderly, within the framework of the actions promoted by the Municipality to foster the integration, participation, and well-being of children and senior citizens.
