The day brought together children and senior citizens in a proposal that promoted the exchange of experiences, shared learning, and the strengthening of bonds between generations.
The Municipality of Concordia carried out the second edition of the intergenerational meeting “Juntos de la Mano”, an initiative that took place in Plaza Sol and featured the participation of the Child Development Centers (CDI) Rincón de Luz and Trencito de Colores.
Under the slogan “When generations embrace, smiles bloom”, children and senior citizens shared games, experiences, and moments of joy, in a space designed to foster meeting, respect, and mutual learning.
The activity allowed for the strengthening of emotional bonds between different generations and highlighted the importance of building spaces for community participation and integration.
In this context, Gladys Portugal, head of the Department of Policies for the Elderly, highlighted the importance of continuing to promote these types of proposals that favor meeting and exchange between children and senior citizens, contributing to a more integrated and solidary community.
The initiative was organized by the Directorate of Childhood, Adolescence and Family and the Department of Policies for the Elderly, within the framework of municipal policies aimed at promoting the integration, participation, and well-being of children and senior citizens.
