The Municipality of Concordia, through the Undersecretariat of Education and Culture, informs that this Saturday, March 14, starting at 7:00 PM, the activity “Women Who Make History” will take place, a cultural gathering that had been originally scheduled for Sunday, March 8, and had to be suspended due to inclement weather.
The proposal will take place at the Plazoleta de las Américas (Water Fountain), located at Av. San Lorenzo and P. Bovino, and is part of the agenda of activities promoted within the framework of International Women's Day.
The meeting aims to pay tribute to women who, through work, perseverance, and a vocation for service, have left and continue to leave deep marks on the history and the present of the Concordia community.
During the day, there will be artistic performances by prominent local talents. Roxana Tavella will participate along with Cielo Malvasio, violinist Franco Pezzelatto accompanied by dancer Jeremías Delfín, and singer Natalia Martínez, who will contribute their art to this day of commemoration.
In addition, there will be a stand from the Faculty of Life and Health Sciences of the Autonomous University of Entre Ríos, which will provide information related to health promotion and prevention, adding an academic and educational perspective to the activity.
The Undersecretariat of Education and Culture invites the entire community to join this day, which proposes a space for meeting, recognition, and reflection on the contribution of women to the construction of society.
The activity is open to the entire community.
