The Undersecretariat of Sports and the Disability Directorate of the Municipality of Concordia carried out the presentation of the Adapted Sports Awards, which in this edition bore the name of Pablo Carmona, a pioneer of the Adapted Sports Program.
Undersecretary of Sports Ivana Pérez highlighted the achievements of each of the athletes throughout the year “which make them deserving of this recognition. We congratulate you and encourage you to continue improving day by day. Thanks also to the families who are always there and to each of the teachers who always see you, incorporated you, care for you, know everything about you, and that is of great value.”
For his part, the Director of Disability Maximiliano Jaurena stated that “you prepare, compete, and have the support of your family, which is fundamental. On the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, it is important that their rights are respected so that they have equal opportunities. From our position, we will continue working for an even more inclusive city, country, and world.”
The ceremony was attended by Vice Mayor Magdalena Reta de Urquiza and councilwoman Verónica Del Boca.
