The Municipality of Concordia, through the Permanent Carnival Entity, held the official launch of the 2026 Pequeños Duendes Carnival, one of the most anticipated cultural proposals for the city's families.
The event was attended by the Director of the Permanent Carnival Entity, Luis Sánchez; the Director of Events, Magali Martínez; and Councilwomen Celeste Fuscado and Silvina Ovelar, along with representatives of the various troupes that will be part of this new edition.
During the presentation, the Director of the Permanent Carnival Entity, Luis Sánchez, highlighted that “the Pequeños Duendes Carnival is a celebration designed for childhood, where values such as inclusion, camaraderie, and cultural identity are promoted. It is a space where children are the protagonists and where families can enjoy a free, high-quality show.” Likewise, he remarked on the importance of joint work with the troupes and the support of the Municipality to guarantee the orderly development of each night.
For her part, the Director of Events, Magali Martínez, pointed out that “this launch marks the beginning of an edition that comes with high expectations. The organization is working to ensure that each day is safe, dynamic, and designed for the enjoyment of the whole family,” and she valued the commitment of the teams that make the children's carnival possible.
Meanwhile, representatives of the participating troupes expressed their enthusiasm for the start of the carnival, highlighting the collective effort and sustained work throughout the year. “For us, it is a huge joy to see the children parade, grow, and experience the carnival as a learning and belonging experience,” they stated.
It was recalled that the 2026 Pequeños Duendes Carnival will begin on Saturday, February 8, at 8:00 PM, with free admission, at the “Atanasio Bonfiglio” Corsódromo, hosted by presenter Fernando Lescano.
