The Municipality of Concordia held the official presentation of “Concordia.Negocios” this Monday, a training and support program aimed at strengthening the development of entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises in the city, providing concrete tools to improve business management, organize processes, boost sales, and make strategic decisions with better information.
The program is promoted by the Secretariat of Cabinet Coordination and Treasury and the Secretariat of Productive Development, in coordination with the National Technological University (UTN) Concordia Regional Faculty, the National University of Entre Ríos (UNER), the National Institute of Industrial Technology (INTI), the Professional Council of Economic Sciences of Entre Ríos (CPCEER), and the Concordia Center of Commerce, Industry and Services (CCISC), within the framework of the Infrastructure and Development Plan towards the Bicentennial.
During the presentation, the objectives and methodology of this first pilot experience were explained, aimed at entrepreneurs and SMEs that already have an operating business within the commerce, services, and tourism sectors.
“Concordia.Negocios” proposes an intensive eight-week in-person training path, based on an applied learning methodology, where each participant will work on their own venture as a case study. Throughout the program, four fundamental pillars will be addressed: business diagnosis and validation, commercial strategies and sales, finance for business management, and processes and formalization.
Mayor Francisco Azcué highlighted the importance of launching the program and noted that “Concordia needs to generate more and more opportunities for those who produce, invest, and undertake. This program represents a political decision to support the private sector with concrete tools, training, and joint work between the State, universities, and institutions. We are committed to knowledge, innovation, and productive development as engines of our city's growth.”
Likewise, he remarked that “every venture that manages to consolidate itself means more employment, more investment, and more opportunities for the residents of Concordia. That is why we continue to promote public policies that strengthen the productive sector and support those who bet on Concordia every day.”
The Secretary of Cabinet Coordination and Treasury, Pablo Ferreyra, pointed out that the project is the result of joint work between the Municipality, institutions, and the private sector, highlighting that “from the Municipality, we support those who invest and generate employment, facilitating processes, reducing the tax burden, and modernizing the State so that undertaking in Concordia becomes simpler every day.”
For his part, the Secretary of Productive Development, Sebastián Aristide, maintained that “Concordia.Negocios” was born from permanent dialogue with local entrepreneurs and business owners, who raised the need for concrete tools to professionalize their business management. The goal is to provide knowledge that can be applied from the first day, helping to organize processes, strengthen sales, and make better decisions.”
Finally, the Director of Innovation and Knowledge Economy, Pedro Kohn, explained that “the program is designed under an applied learning methodology, where each participant will work on their own venture. The coordination between the Municipality, universities, and productive sector institutions allows us to offer a quality proposal, with practical tools and support designed to generate a real impact on each business. If we want the city to grow, we must generate more businesses and help increase income so that, in turn, employability opportunities within the sector increase.”
