The proceedings are carried out through the Commission on Problematic Consumption, which is part of the Local Human Development Board of the Municipality of Concordia, in a joint organization with the Ministry of Health of Entre Ríos, civil associations, and intermediate institutions.
This Wednesday, the second of four meetings of the provincial program for the Training of Preventers in Problematic Consumption was held at the Concordia Convention Center.
The purpose is to provide municipal workers, educators, health personnel, community leaders, and the general public with practical and interdisciplinary tools to address situations related to problematic substance consumption, from a perspective of prevention and community care.
In this regard, Pablo Cymbalista, Director of Prevention and Control of Addictions of the Ministry of Health of the Province of Entre Ríos, noted that “we left the first meeting very happy with the number of people who were able to come and see what this training for preventers is about. In today's session, we delved into everything related to substances; we are going to develop the most consumed ones, but we will also comment on new substances and new types of consumption. So it was a more technical module.”
Along these lines, he highlighted the work carried out with the Secretariat of Human Development and the Municipality of Concordia. “The reception and organization were impeccable; we felt at home and very well received. The work they are doing in the territory from the Secretariat of Human Development is evident.”
