Within the framework of the joint work between the Undersecretariat of Tourism of Concordia, the Mixed Concordiense Tourism Board (EMCONTUR), and El Palmar National Park, the 3rd Technical Assistance Workshop on Tourism Management in Protected Natural Areas was held at Parque San Carlos.
The workshop was aimed at officials and technical teams of the Municipality of Concordia, who, together with agents from El Palmar National Park, conducted a tour of different sectors of the site. The objective was to incorporate a specialized technical perspective to identify opportunities for improvement related to the use of space, accessibility, and the tourist experience.
This is a support process that has already had two previous sessions, in which the characteristics and needs of the space were addressed together with the site's workers.
In this instance, the tour allowed for the analysis of different sectors of Parque San Carlos, including the access portal, perimeters, vehicular roads, pedestrian paths, natural viewpoints, recreational spaces, public infrastructure, and cultural and tourist interest sites. The activity was practical and participatory in nature and was developed within the framework of Thematic Axis 1: Protection and conservation of heritage, corresponding to the technical assistance program for tourism management in protected natural areas.
