The Organizing Committee of the 37th Edition of the 2024 San Antonio de Padua Awards has concluded the round of meetings with the various institutions that nominate for the great sports celebration. These have been carried out within the appropriate framework, that is, with mutual respect and consideration between organizers and entities.
The meetings were held in batches with the institutions, clubs, and associations, where they were informed of the details of the ceremony that will take place on December 23 at 9:00 PM at the Convention Center. These institutions will have a deadline for submitting nominations on Friday, December 6, and then the Sports Journalism meeting (see below) will remain to define the final list of nominees.
This year, each institution will nominate via email in addition to submitting the physical form that was provided to each of them.
The majority of the institutions, through the people who came as their representatives, are already quite oriented regarding the nominations, just as many leaders already know the entire mechanism from having been involved with sports for so many years.
Different circumstances mean that some sports do not have a single association or entity that federates or shelters them. Therefore, those who nominate are clubs that, in a great atmosphere of respect, have agreed to carry out the work for the San Antonio together.
In summary, it only remains to wait for the nominations from the entities, which are sovereign, as well as those that will be issued by the Sports Journalism, and from there the celebration will enter the final stretch that will lead to the great sports night of Concordia.
CALL TO SPORTS JOURNALISM
The Undersecretariat of Sports and the Organizing Committee of the San Antonio de Padua Awards invite all Sports Journalists of Concordia to the meeting where they will be in charge of nominating the athletes deserving of the award this season.
It will take place on Monday, December 9, at 8:30 PM at the Sports Secretariat itself, located at San Juan and Corrientes.
The Undersecretariat of Sports wants to place special emphasis on the fact that the call is completely open to all Sports Journalism, whether or not they have been in previous meetings. In this way, it seeks to reach the greatest possible plurality of opinions and voices regarding the awards, and to continue on the path of transparency that the San Antonio de Padua has.
Let us remember that the 37th Edition of the San Antonio de Padua Awards will take place on Monday, December 23, starting at 9:00 PM, at the Convention Center of our city. The night, as is customary, promises applause and emotions at the great event with the best of our city's sports.
