With the meeting held last Thursday at the Sports Directorate, the series of informative meetings planned by the Organizing Committee of the 2019 San Antonio de Padua Award was completed.
In this way, the leaders responsible for the nominations of the athletes who will receive the Award at the ceremony that will take place on Friday, December 20 at the Concordia Convention Center, were informed of some of the new features ordered by the Mayor, Dr. Enrique Cresto, for this year's edition, fundamentally regarding the submission of nominations, which must be done digitally through the Municipality's website, www.concordia.gob.ar.-
Once it was finished, and after the Committee evaluated that there are several disciplines that did not attend these meetings that took place over the last two weeks, an extra one was organized that will be held next Tuesday the 19th, from 8:30 PM at the offices of the Sports Directorate, to which the leaders of Motorsports, Karting, Motorcycling, Triathlon, Duathlon, Shooting, Basketball, Soccer, Padel, Golf, Mixed Martial Arts and Fishing will be summoned, and where their presence is requested given the importance of knowing the nomination system so that the athletes are not harmed.-
The schedule for the 2019 edition of the San Antonio de Padua Award ceremony continues with the sending of their username and password to those Governing Bodies or Clubs that participate in a single sports discipline, in order to access the nomination form for its corresponding completion.-
For those disciplines where Nomination Meetings must be held, the Committee left it to the discretion of the institutions that must nominate to coordinate the date and place to carry them out, having to communicate this situation before next Wednesday the 20th to the Sports Directorate, and in case such communication is not received by that date, the Sports Directorate will set the date, time and place for its realization, which must be carried out before Saturday, November 30.-
Let us remember that until Monday, December 9, the Governing Bodies have time to complete the data requested through the nomination system provided by the IT Directorate, and once filled out, print the form and present it to the Sports Directorate in order to validate the nomination for the Specialty and Merit in Specialty Awards, which are their responsibility.-
For its part, the third Award nominated in each discipline is in charge of Sports Journalism, which will meet at the Sports Directorate on Monday, December 9 to complete the list of athletes who will receive the oldest of the sports recognitions awarded in the Province.-
