During the past weekend, they provided a professional and committed response in an emergency situation.
The situation occurred on the fifth floor of a building where a person was experiencing health problems that required rapid assistance, which was provided by SIMES (Municipal Integral Health Emergency Service), arriving at the scene to provide initial care and then transporting them to a private sanatorium in the city.
For this reason, on Tuesday morning, the mayor Francisco Azcué, together with the Secretary of Human Development Sebastián Arístides and the head of SIMES, Dr. Diego Sauré, recognized and highlighted the work done by the staff.
“In our administration, we want to elevate the municipal worker and revalue the culture of work and service, so that they feel part of what we are doing” because when “there is a sense of belonging, they give more, and that is what happened this weekend. This fills us with pride and these are things that must be highlighted and recognized,” said the mayor of Concordia.
For his part, the Secretary of Human Development, Sebastián Arístides, highlighted the daily work they carry out, which was demonstrated during this weekend in a situation that, perhaps for those who provide a service in this area, may be something normal, but for the rest of the community, it should be a satisfaction to know that there is personnel of this quality.
“We received from the professionals at the sanatorium an expression of gratitude and recognition for the work done by the SIMES staff, as they showed commitment and professionalism at all times,” remarked Dr. Diego Sauré.
The recognitions were presented to the SIMES team that was on duty during December 25th: nurses Romina Trupiano and Francisco Silva; system operator Silvia Ortiz and the ambulance drivers.
