The Decentralized Sanitary Works Entity (EDOS) informs that the construction company of the New Water Plant will carry out this Saturday, May 15, one of the last connections of the Ring Main to the existing network, in a large-diameter pipe corresponding to the system's trunk network.
To carry out this task, which will take place at the intersection of La Rioja and Montevideo streets, the Water Plant's booster pump must be shut down so that the work can be performed correctly and as quickly as possible.
For this reason, on Saturday, May 15, from 7 a.m. until approximately noon, the time estimated for the work to be completed, the normal water supply will be affected.
Given this, residents are advised to take the necessary precautions well in advance, and we apologize for any inconvenience these necessary scheduled works may cause, as they will substantially improve the service throughout the city.
After the work scheduled for this Saturday, only three more connections will remain to be made in different sectors, marking the final stage of this process for the New Potable Water Treatment Plant project in Concordia.
