As a result of joint work between the Municipality of Concordia, through the Undersecretariat of Culture and Education and the General Council of Education of Entre Ríos, through the Oporunid@des Program, 24 municipal agents finished their secondary studies.
The Oportunid@des Program is an educational policy promoted by the Directorate of Youth and Adult Education of the General Council of Education that aims to guarantee the right to finish secondary studies to people over 18 years of age through a flexible pedagogical proposal, which combines in-person instances with digital tools.
This format allows citizens, with different realities, to access quality education respecting their time, promoting autonomy and favoring educational inclusion.
The mayor Francisco Azcué expressed his satisfaction with the goal achieved by the municipal agents “because they become an example for their families, their children, their environment because they have shown that self-improvement is possible and that goals are achieved with effort and dedication”.
“Education is the best tool for transformation, which allows dreams to be achieved and projected, which is why I encourage you to continue improving yourselves, studying and training. The Municipality works on different actions aimed at municipal employees but also for residents with literacy programs, workshops and training spaces” remarked Azcué.
The Departmental Director of Schools Alejandro Ramírez highlighted the scope of the program that allows “those who wish to improve themselves, to take an important step such as finishing secondary studies” while highlighting “the support of the families of each of the students that has been fundamental in this time of training”.
Finally, the Zonal Supervisor Héctor Andrini highlighted the fact that this graduating class became the largest in the province of Entre Ríos so far in the Oportunid@des Program, recognizing the effort of the students in setting aside time for study, taking into account that they also have work responsibilities, which makes this achievement even more meritorious.
