The Secretariat of Productive Development of the Municipality of Concordia invites producers, entrepreneurs, and interested members of the public to participate in the First Meeting on Pitayas, a training proposal that will combine a technical session and a field workshop, with the aim of promoting new productive alternatives in the region.
The activity will take place in two instances: March 5th at Vivero Zordan, Colonia Ayuí, and March 6th at Fincris Agro SRL, Magnasco, both in the Concordia department.
During the sessions, content related to varieties, planting, harvesting, frost control, crop coverage, and marketing strategies will be addressed, providing practical and updated tools for those who wish to start or strengthen their pitaya production.
From the Secretariat, they pointed out that these types of initiatives are part of an active policy of support for the local productive sector, promoting diversification, value addition, and the generation of new economic development opportunities for Concordia and the region.
