The National Citrus Capital welcomed journalists specializing in tourism, travel, and aviation, along with travel agencies and industry leaders, as part of a series of Fam Press and Fam Tours that allowed them to experience Humming Airways flights and learn firsthand about the destination's tourism offerings, with the goal of promoting them in specialized media and channels.
These actions were framed within the start of the airline's commercial flights, which connect the Jorge Newbery Aeroparque in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires with the Comodoro Pierrestegui Airport in Concordia, and vice versa. The route has two weekly frequencies, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and an approximate flight time of 45 minutes, which represents a significant advance in air connectivity for the city and the binational region of Salto Grande.
SPECIALIZED MEDIA AND TRAVEL AGENCIES
Journalists from the media outlets Mensajeros Turísticos, LADEVI, Radar Viajes, Paseos y Turismo, El Aviador, HSM Daily Web, BoardingPax, Radio Continental, Es Nota and Sabor País, TN Digital, Radio 10, El Destape Web, Aviación Online, Noticias Argentinas, and MDZ Online took part in this experience, as well as representatives from tour operators and travel agencies Pax Travel, SUTEBA, and La Familia.
The central focus of the action was to position the flights as a true gateway to the destination, highlighting the strategic value of air connectivity as a driver of tourism, productive, and commercial development for Concordia and its area of influence.

During their stay, the participants complemented the air experience with a diverse agenda of local tourism proposals. Among the activities carried out, nautical and sports experiences on the Uruguay River and Lake Salto Grande, rural tourism days, tours of the Castillo San Carlos and the Naranjal de Pereda, architectural circuits, wine tourism experiences in wineries and vineyards, visits to thermal complexes, and walks along the local Costanera stood out.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES OF THE FAM
These actions, promoted by the Undersecretariat of Tourism of the Municipality of Concordia and the Mixed Concordiense Tourism Board (EMCONTUR), strengthen the promotion of the destination and consolidate Concordia as a connected and easily accessible city. Its strategic location in the Mercosur corridor and the incorporation of regular flights reinforce its profile as a diverse, attractive tourist destination with an active offering throughout the year.
