After the parades that toured the city, bringing joy to every corner, the decisive day arrived that crowned the Capullitos Comparsa from the Villa Jardín neighborhood as the winner of the 2018 Pequeños Duendes Carnival. Organized by the Carnival Entity and the Neighborhood Workshops Coordination of the Municipality together with the Conased Foundation and with the support of the Scholarship Institute, the 13 Pequeños Duendes comparsas are part of the municipal state policies that Mayor Cresto promoted with a focus on integration and inclusion.

Lucrecia Benítez, representative of this year's winning Comparsa, does not only limit herself to the work that the carnival demands, but they also have the objective of "taking them off the street, so that they do not grow up among things that are not good, that is why we try to keep them away from those bad things and let them enjoy their childhood," she pointed out.
Alice in Wonderland was represented by more than 100 children from the Capullito comparsa. The children, wrapped in such innocence, knew how to represent each role with great enthusiasm and good vibes.
