The Municipality of Concordia informs that this Wednesday, July 15, due to the match between Argentina and England for the World Cup, a new special operation will be carried out so that, in the event of a victory for the National Team, the celebrations can take place in an orderly manner.
To allow safe pedestrian traffic to the Plaza 25 de Mayo area, street closures will be implemented starting at 5:00 PM in the following sectors: San Luis and Bernardo de Irigoyen; Buenos Aires and Pellegrini streets; Mitre and Hipólito Yrigoyen; Alberdi and Urquiza; Pellegrini and Alberdi, and Yrigoyen and Alberdi.
Personnel from the Secretariat of Health, the Undersecretariat of Citizen Security, and the Directorate of Traffic and Transport will be participating, together with the Concordia Departmental Headquarters of the Entre Ríos Police.
“We want to highlight the community's behavior during last weekend, collaborating and understanding at all times that the objectives of these operations are to take care of public spaces and the integrity of individuals, with measures that are not restrictive but rather intended so that we can all have a safe celebration, responsibly,” the Municipality remarked.
FREE METERED PARKING
Likewise, the Directorate of Traffic and Transport indicated that during Wednesday afternoon, Metered Parking will not be charged.
The service will return to normal operation starting Thursday, July 16, during regular hours.
