The Municipality of Concordia, through the Directorate of Innovation and Knowledge Economy, informs that a new call for applications is open to participate in the Concordia Robotics Club, an educational proposal aimed at children and adolescents between 8 and 15 years of age.
In this new registration phase, more opportunities continue to be added so that more young people can access training spaces linked to experimental robotics, programming, and logical-mathematical thinking, through a practical, playful, and participatory learning methodology.
The workshops are in-person, free of charge, and require prior registration. Activities will begin during the first week of June and will be held in a weekly meeting format of two hours duration, in the afternoon. The pedagogical path includes a total of eight classes per group.
In addition to incorporating technological knowledge, the proposal promotes the development of socio-emotional skills, teamwork, and peer interaction, in an environment designed to stimulate creativity and collaborative learning.
Currently, the program has three training centers in operation: the “La Estación” Coworking, located at the Concordia Convention Center; the Bicentennial House, in the Víctor Oppel neighborhood; and Puerto TEC, in warehouse No. 1 of the Costanera.
This initiative is part of the new Infrastructure and Development Plan towards the Bicentennial of Concordia, promoted by the Municipality, which proposes a long-term transformation strategy based on investment with its own funds, strengthening infrastructure, and generating training and development opportunities for the community.
From the coordinating team, they highlighted that they are still in the pre-selection stage, so interested families are still in time to complete the registration.
To participate, the responsible adults must complete the form with the data of the interested child or adolescent through the following link: https://bit.ly/4uwkAtE
