The Reyes Marathon continues this Wednesday with the kit pickup for local runners; it will take place from this Wednesday, January 7th, through Friday, January 9th, between 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM at the Peatonal del Bicentenario.
Likewise, there is a special delivery session exclusively for non-resident runners, which will be held on January 10th at the Concordia Convention Center, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
With 3 days left until the sporting event, it is important to note that the two distances will start twenty minutes apart, with the main distance starting at 8:00 PM from San Lorenzo and Sarmiento heading west, and the 5.5k starting from San Lorenzo and San Luis heading east at 8:20 PM.
RACE KITS
To pick up the corresponding kit, it is mandatory to present the liability waiver printed and signed by the runner. In the event that the pickup is carried out by a third party, the waiver must also include the signature of the registered athlete, without exception. The organization highlights the importance of meeting these requirements to streamline the process and ensure an orderly and efficient delivery.
The kit contains the official t-shirt, the timing chip, and gifts from the sponsors; Dos Hermanos snacks, Doña Pupa jam, Tostex cookies, Playadito yerba mate, Sol y Fruta juice, in addition to other benefits such as those from Grido ice cream shops, among many others.
HYDRATION STATIONS
For better sports planning for the runners, the organization would like to highlight that the hydration stations set up along the circuit will be as follows: Isthilart and Avellaneda; Plaza España; 1° de Mayo and Moreno; Lamadrid and Coldaroli; San Lorenzo and La Rioja.
PARKING
In parallel, and with the aim of ensuring the safety of athletes, the public, and event staff, the community is requested not to park vehicles on the streets and avenues that are part of the 10K and 5.5K circuits on Saturday, January 10th, between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM.
TRAFFIC CLOSURES
During the same hours, partial and total traffic closures will be implemented progressively in key sectors of the circuit as the competition progresses. The operation will include security and traffic personnel, and vehicle entry or circulation unrelated to the organization will not be permitted. The organization will soon release these points to avoid traffic complications.
