This Friday, the closing ceremony of the Professional Training Workshops was held, a program carried out jointly by the Municipality of Concordia and the Argentine Army, through the 6th Tank Cavalry Regiment “Blandengues”.
The objective is for young people in our city to access training in basic painting, carpentry, tailoring, and sport horse care, trades that allow for the acquisition of practical knowledge and strengthen preparation for the labor market.
Mayor Francisco Azcué highlighted the importance of promoting public policies that provide concrete tools for personal and professional growth, as well as the importance of being able to carry it out jointly with the Argentine Army.
“Having a trade allows one to acquire knowledge, develop skills, and generate new opportunities to build life projects with greater autonomy. I congratulate those who participated in the workshops this year and urge them to continue training and learning. For our part, we will always make the necessary tools available,” remarked Azcué.
For his part, the head of the local Regiment, Lieutenant Colonel Jorge Andrés Camarino, highlighted the institution's commitment to the development of the training sessions and the availability of specialized personnel for instruction, noting the continuity of the agreement with the Municipality as a tool to provide knowledge and contribute to the preparation of participants for the labor market.
The Director of Education of the Municipality, Franco Alcoba, stated that “from the Undersecretariat of Education and Culture, we understand that professional training is a concrete tool to generate opportunities and support our residents in building a future with greater possibilities, and that for these initiatives to have continuity, the coordination between the Municipal State, institutions, and the community is fundamental.”
