During this week, part of the team from the Traffic and Transport Directorate, under the Government Secretariat of the Municipality of Concordia, moved to the northwest area of the city so that residents of that sector can take the course to obtain a driver's license.
The activities are taking place at the Nueva Vida Church, and more than a thousand registered participants attended the first day of training; they will take the theoretical and practical exam on Wednesday.
Emanuel Galli, director of the area, indicated that this arose as a way to bring the department closer to one of the most distant sectors of Concordia so that residents do not have to travel to the downtown area to carry out the procedure.
“We are very satisfied with the response we had from the community. On this first day, we came with the Road Safety Education team, who are conducting the training, and the exams will be held on Wednesday, May 20,” explained Galli, who also noted that registrations for this instance are closed.
SUBE UPDATE AND BENEFITS
In parallel to the course, this Wednesday, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the same location, procedures for updating and extending SUBE card benefits will be carried out.
The requirements are as follows:
Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Students: attend with DNI, SUBE card, and a certificate of regular student status signed by the institution.
Teachers: attend with DNI, SUBE card, and a certificate issued by the Departmental Directorate of Schools.
Disability: attend with DNI and a photocopy of the disability certificate.
