Concordia is once again hosting a sports event with binational participation with the holding of the 5th International Youth Social Hockey Meeting Concordia 2025, which will take place from November 14 to 16.
Organized by the Municipality of Concordia and the Argentine Social Hockey Federation, this meeting brings together more than 250 young people in the Under 16 categories (Ladies and Gentlemen), representing Argentine delegations (Selectivo Concordia, Las Lobitas, Los Lobitos, Centro Entrerriano, SOMRA Malvinas) and the international delegation of the Interior Hockey Union (UNHI) from Uruguay.
The Secretariat of Human Development and various municipal areas have coordinated the logistics, support, and care of the delegations during the three days, ensuring that sport serves as a tool for integration and camaraderie.
The competition, with free admission, will take place on Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., and will conclude on Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., with the playing of the SUB 16 semifinals and finals.
The opening ceremony will take place this Saturday, November 15, at 8:00 p.m., at the Water Hockey Field of the Municipal Sports Center. The entire community is invited to be part of this exchange ceremony, which will culminate with a live show by "Sentimiento Original".
