With the participation of more than 1800 children, distributed across the different venues, the Municipality of Concordia, through the Undersecretariat of Sports, is carrying out the Summer Recreational Programs where different activities are held.
“Our goal is to promote sports as a tool for inclusion, learning, and development during the summer season,” stated Ivana Pérez, Undersecretary of Sports, noting that the recreational programs take place simultaneously at the Víctor Oppel Sports Center, NEA General San Martín Sports Center, Tavella, Villa Adela, and Emaús.
Due to the high demand from children, the schedule was extended to four hours. “It gives us great satisfaction to see so many boys and girls happy, playing and carrying out the different educational activities assigned by our teachers. It has been a very intense January, but we are very happy with the activities we have been developing,” maintained Pérez.
Finally, she recalled that in addition to the children, the Recreational Programs for Senior Citizens are being carried out at the Víctor Oppel Sports Center, with very good participation.
