The 2018 ExpoCarnaval can be experienced as a preview of what is the city's greatest summer festival. During Saturday and Sunday there will be various activities, exhibition stands, and the Comparsas of Concordia, in addition to showcasing their work, will also be present at the Gastronomic Patio, in an activity that will allow them to raise funds to continue planning the 2019 edition.
In this context, two prominent artists from the Rio Carnival will visit the city: the dancer Luana Bandeira, who was the Queen of the battery of “Estácio de Sá” for 6 editions, and Mestre Junior Sampaio. Each will provide training classes in Samba No Pe and Percussion, respectively. There will also be workshops and clinics on musical composition, makeup, stage presence, among other proposals. But also the event, which will take place on Saturday, November 3rd and Sunday, November 4th, will feature the presence of more than 10 Queens of the Carnivals of Argentina, who will visit the city and participate in the "Conversatorio" coordinated by Lic. Carina Bradanini, in which they will share their experience regarding the reign that each one carries out and what this festival means for each of their localities.
The host Queen, Agustina Barrio, Queen of the Carnival of Concordia 2018, and the Queen of the Carnival of the Pequeños Duendes, Kiara Capeche, will receive Virginia Vigueras (Queen of the Carnival of Federación), Macarena Albert (Queen of the Carnival of Caseros), Florencia Jurado (Queen of the Carnival of Gualeguaychú), Lucía Gómez (from Federal), Ana Paula Lezica (from Concepción del Uruguay), Rocío Castillo (from Frontera, Santa Fe), Jeniffer Belén Sánchez (from San Francisco, Córdoba), Micaela Casarotto (from Chajarí; who is also Queen of the Provincial Lamb Festival), among other Carnival sovereigns who will arrive in our city.
Access to the ExpoCarnaval is free and open to the whole family, while registration for the training classes has a minimum symbolic value, which allows access to the respective certification and the raffle of various prizes and surprises.
