The Municipality of Concordia, with the participation of more than 20 areas, carried out a new territorial approach this weekend in the El Silencio neighborhood where residents were able to access services, make inquiries, and receive advice.
The main objective is to bring the Municipality closer to the neighborhoods so that the people of Concordia, who during the week may be unable to reach municipal offices, can resolve various procedures with the presence of officials in the field.
“Territorial approaches are very important for our administration because they allow us to strengthen our presence in the neighborhoods, and communication with residents and their families,” stated Mayor Francisco Azcué.
Among other procedures, pet castrations and vaccinations were carried out; vaccination schedules for children and adults were completed; pediatric and dental consultations were attended; SUBE procedures were performed, as well as exams for food handling permits and driver's licenses.
“Based on these actions, we can improve many things, and this does not end here because there are issues that begin during these approaches and then have continuity during the week or for as long as necessary to provide answers to the community,” maintained Azcué.
Finally, the mayor pointed out that “we will continue working in this way, reaching the most remote sectors to consolidate these approaches as an opportunity not only to decentralize the Municipality but also as a moment that serves to listen to each other and continue working, together with our residents, for the neighborhood and Concordia in general.”
