The Municipality of Concordia carries out permanent controls in different sectors of the city to establish compliance with Ordinance No. 37,925, which explicitly prohibits the activity of car attendants and the charging for parking or vehicle care without municipal authorization.
In this framework, the Undersecretariat of Citizen Security, reporting to the Government Secretariat, through its Operational Unit and the corps of inspectors, carries out preventive patrols focused on high-traffic areas, such as gastronomic corridors, the vicinity of nightclubs, and public events with high attendance.
The regulation pursues two central objectives: on one hand, to guarantee the use of public space as a common, safe, and orderly environment; and on the other, to protect citizens against situations of intimidation or extortionate behavior linked to this activity.
As a result of these actions, the response capacity of the municipal State has been strengthened, allowing for more agile and effective interventions to discourage these behaviors, and contributing to the creation of a safer environment for both residents and visitors.
