The Municipality of Concordia, through the Undersecretariat of Education and Culture, invites the community to participate in the second meeting of the Musical Appreciation Cycle “Claves para Escuchar”, an educational and artistic proposal that continues to create spaces for training, reflection, and enjoyment regarding music.
Following a first session with broad participation, this new meeting will address the theme “Rock and Pop: historical evolution, structures, and significant lyrics”, proposing a journey through one of the most influential genres of contemporary culture. Through a comprehensive perspective, its transformations over time, its main musical characteristics, and the impact of its lyrics in different social and cultural contexts will be explored.
The cycle, promoted by Licentiate and Professor Esteban Taubas, is aimed at the general public and aims to provide tools for more conscious and critical listening, promoting the analysis and understanding of diverse musical genres. The proposal combines theoretical presentations, guided listening, practical activities, and instances of group exchange, generating a participatory and enriching experience.
The meeting will take place next Saturday, April 25th, at 9:00 AM at the “Malviccino” Arts Hall, located at 638 Urquiza St. The activity is free and open to the public, with prior registration through the following link: https://docs.google.com/forms/ d/ 1vSzNfHoSWkYdE0MbrkpY2jvlyzDse TFMKX0c0k-JIZ4/edit? chromeless=1.
From the Undersecretariat, they highlighted the importance of continuing to promote these types of initiatives open to the community, which allow for bringing musical knowledge closer from an accessible perspective, fostering participation and cultural encounter.
In this way, the Municipality of Concordia continues to strengthen public policies that promote access to education and culture as fundamental tools for the integral development of the community.
