The Municipality of Concordia, through the Undersecretariat of Education and Culture, continues to develop the Municipal School Support Centers Program, an initiative that seeks to support the educational trajectories of children and adolescents attending primary and secondary school, providing pedagogical support spaces in different neighborhoods of the city during the school year, from March to December.
Currently, several of these centers are already in operation in different parts of Concordia, offering school support classes in community spaces where students can reinforce content, receive assistance with their homework, and strengthen their learning. In this context, the Undersecretariat is promoting an open call for active teachers, retired teachers, and advanced students who wish to join voluntarily to expand this educational network and reach more neighborhoods in the city.
“The School Support Centers are a very important tool to support the educational trajectories of our children. We know that many need a space for reinforcement and guidance, and that is why we seek to expand this proposal so that more neighborhoods in Concordia can have this service,” stated the Undersecretary of Education and Culture, Prof. Carlos Gatto.
Likewise, the official highlighted the value of community commitment in this type of initiative. “We deeply believe in education as a collective task. That is why we invite the entire community, retired teachers, and advanced students who want to contribute their time and knowledge to support our children. Every contribution adds up and can make a difference in a student's life,” he added.
