With the objective of providing continuity to the various public policies being developed jointly, a working meeting was held between the Municipality of Concordia and the Provincial Council for Children, Adolescents and the Family (COPNAF), presided over by Mayor Francisco Azcué and the president of the organization, Clarisa Sack.
During the meeting, they discussed the collaboration provided by the municipality, deepening cooperation channels and planning new joint actions to strengthen support and guidance for children, adolescents, and their families.
In addition, the authorities visited the “Solidaridad” Center, where the municipality is carrying out maintenance and enhancement work on the building, as part of a policy to improve community spaces where high-impact social interventions are carried out.
Mayor Francisco Azcué stressed that “these are the actions outlined by Governor Rogelio Frigerio. When we detect a situation that requires intervention, COPNAF is available, and that makes us more efficient as a team.”
“We visited an improvement project at the ‘Solidaridad’ Center, a key space that is receiving the conditioning it deserves. Every time COPNAF calls us, we are there, and we will continue on this path,” remarked Azcué.
For her part, COPNAF president Clarisa Sack stated that “this articulated work with the municipality is what we really need: to build networks, strengthen them, and be able to support each other with a very important territorial action,” she began.
In that vein, Sack pointed out that “together with the Concordia coordinator Constanza Ortiz, we are strengthening those support networks in the neighborhoods. Today we visited a service in a very busy area of the city and we appreciate the municipality's help to renovate it and improve conditions that had been quite forgotten. I appreciate the administration of Francisco Azcué, which allows us to continue improving our interventions and the care for our children, adolescents, and families.”
The tour reinforces the commitment of both institutions to the development of public policies that prioritize childhood and adolescence, with an effective presence in the territory and with the active support of the State.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary of Human Development of the Municipality, Sebastián Arístide; the Director of Adolescence of COPNAF, Pablo Galarza; and the COPNAF Concordia Coordinator, Constanza Ortiz.
