The Directorate of Electrotechnics and Communications continues to execute the technological and lighting infrastructure optimization plan, with the objective of providing greater security and better services to residents.
Within the framework of a comprehensive maintenance and modernization program for public spaces, the Directorate of Electrotechnics and Communications, under the Secretariat of Public Services of the Municipality of Concordia, reported on the progress of video surveillance and lighting work carried out in recent days.
With a focus on prevention and citizen security, technical teams carried out the planning, installation, and commissioning of a new video surveillance dome at the Campo de los Deportes. Likewise, the dome located at the strategic intersection of San Lorenzo and Urquiza was reactivated, ensuring greater coverage of the urban monitoring system. In addition, connectivity was established for a new video surveillance point in the Toronjal neighborhood square.
IMPROVEMENTS IN LIGHTING FOR NEIGHBORHOODS AND PUBLIC SPACES
Simultaneously, maintenance and optimization tasks for public lighting were carried out in different sectors:
Plaza Godoy (La Bianca Neighborhood): Technical maintenance work was carried out on the site's lighting fixtures.
La Pampa Street: Improvement tasks on the lighting system to ensure greater visibility and safety for pedestrians in the area.
JOINT WORK IN THE COSTANERA
On the other hand, the Directorate worked in coordination with the Ente Costanera, proceeding with the replacement of lighting fixtures in the Arroyo Manzores area that had been vandalized, restoring service to a vital sector for the recreation of Concordia families.
From the Secretariat of Public Services, they highlighted that these actions are part of a management policy that prioritizes the incorporation of technology and territorial presence to improve the quality of life of our residents.
