This Thursday, led by Mayor Francisco Azcué, a meeting was held between the company Egger, residents of the surrounding neighborhoods, and officials from the Municipality of Concordia.
On this occasion, the company presented recent air quality studies and toxicity analyses developed by nationally recognized laboratories, disclosing results that confirm they are within legal parameters and do not constitute a pollutant nor represent a health risk.
Furthermore, the company committed to continuing the studies for the next 6 months and mentioned the measures they are implementing and will implement with the objective of mitigating and reducing emissions at the site, within the standards established by law.
Regarding the Municipality, it was reported at the meeting that last Saturday a response was provided to the note submitted by the residents in the final days of December 2025, through administrative case file 1361773, complying with the deadlines established in accordance with current legislation.
To this same administrative case file, the documentation presented by Egger during the meeting will be attached, remaining available to those who require it. Likewise, it was announced that every existing request or report that is presented will be added to the already existing documentation.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to move forward with a Commitment Act establishing the responsibility and role that each will fulfill and to maintain an open channel of dialogue and work to strengthen good coexistence in the neighborhood.
