The Municipality of Concordia, through the Undersecretariat of Education and Culture, carried out the graduation ceremony and delivery of certificates for the various Professional Training Programs developed during the year, in coordination with educational institutions, public agencies, and the 6th Tank Cavalry Regiment “Blandengues”.
With the presence of Mayor Francisco Azcué, more than 350 students received their certificates after having completed courses and training related to trades, technical training, entrepreneurship, communication, and personal development. Among the promoted proposals, the following stand out: Basic Carpentry, Tailoring, Residential Painting, Electronics, Electrical Installations, Bakery, Business Model Development and Corporate Image, Educational Practices, Identity Program, and the training on Home Caregivers for the Elderly, Children, and Adolescents developed together with UADER, which strengthen the quality of training and the academic bond between the University and the municipality.
The Undersecretariat of Education and Culture highlighted that these achievements are the result of sustained work with institutions, such as UADER, the Instituto Profesorado Concordia, secondary schools in the city, and the 6th Tank Cavalry Regiment “Blandengues”, which allowed for expanding the offer and guaranteeing comprehensive training for the participants.
The Undersecretary of Education and Culture, Prof. Carlos Gatto, highlighted the importance of joint work: “This ceremony is the reflection of a year of shared effort. Each certificate represents a concrete opportunity for our residents, and demonstrates what we can achieve when education, institutions, and the State work together.”
Furthermore, he added: “Training in trades, access to technical tools, and coordination with institutions such as UADER strengthen the construction of real educational paths, especially for young people who today find new possibilities for professional and personal development.”
Finally, he underscored the commitment of the municipal administration: “We will continue to bet on education as a path of transformation and to expand the course offer during 2026, because we know that training opens doors and improves people's lives.”
The event was attended by the Secretary of Human Development, Eng. Sebastián Arístide; the Undersecretary of Social Development, Roberto Niez; educational authorities from UADER and secondary level institutions; and the Chief of the 6th Tank Cavalry Regiment “Blandengues”, Lieutenant Colonel Jorge Camarino.
The Municipality of Concordia reaffirmed its commitment to continue expanding the course offer and strengthening ties with academic and community institutions, with the goal of providing more and better training tools for the personal and professional development of the residents.
