This Friday, at the offices of the Directorate of Cooperativism and Associativism, a new delivery of the Municipal Microcredit Program was held, a public policy aimed at strengthening and supporting social economy ventures in the city.
The activity was led by the Director of Cooperativism and Associativism, Ariel Gorostegui, together with the Microcredit team, composed of Miguel Parra, Alejandro Martínez, Fabio Zambon, and Martín Denis.
In this instance, five local entrepreneurs accessed credits for a total amount of $2,500,000, receiving $500,000 each, to be repaid in six fixed, interest-free installments. The objective of this tool is to boost the growth, investment, and sustainability of productive projects that generate work and strengthen the local economy.
Among the benefited ventures is that of Nadia Rey, dedicated to the production of artisanal alfajores, an activity she carries out with her husband; Juan Bautista Dalzoto, a producer of artisanal dulce de leche currently sold in various shops in the city; Vanina Ayala, an entrepreneur who produces and sells artisanally made lingerie; Emilce Cirolla, a young entrepreneur who has been venturing into artisanal baking for six months; and María Eugenia Falcón, a textile artisan and entrepreneur who is part of the Municipal Social Economy Fair.
The Directorate of Cooperativism and Associativism highlighted that the Municipal Microcredit Program constitutes a strategic tool to promote local development, self-managed work, and financial inclusion, generating concrete opportunities for those who are part of the social economy framework.
Likewise, the importance of the technical support and permanent monitoring carried out by the Microcredit team was underscored, strengthening not only access to financing but also the consolidation and projection of the benefited ventures.
Through these types of actions, the Municipality reaffirms its commitment to public policies aimed at fostering entrepreneurship, cooperativism, and job creation, consolidating a development model with social inclusion and local roots.
