Within the framework of the municipal cabinet meeting, the new official website of the Municipality of Concordia was presented, a renewed institutional tool to facilitate residents' access to public information, services, and local government activity.
The portal, available at www.concordia.gob.arreplaces the previous version, which had been in operation for over a decade, and was developed entirely by the municipality's IT Department, with the collaboration of the Undersecretariat of Communication and Press.
The joint effort allowed for addressing the renovation from two complementary perspectives: on one hand, technological development and improvement of the platform's functionality; on the other, the organization of content, design, and navigation experience, with the goal of offering a clearer, more accessible, and useful site for citizens.
A FASTER, MORE ACCESSIBLE, AND USER-FRIENDLY WEBSITE
Among the main improvements, it is highlighted that the new site is 80% faster than the previous one and features a design adaptable to mobile phones and tablets, which allows for consulting information and carrying out procedures from different devices. Furthermore, it maintains the accessibility tools that were already available in the previous version.
The structure is organized into five major sections—City, Government, Services, Tourism, and Transparency—and offers direct access to the Citizen Portal, from where online procedures can be carried out, claims can be initiated, and the certificate of no outstanding debt can be requested.
It also incorporates a general search engine that allows finding news, procedures, regulations, and other content from a single place, simplifying the search for information and preventing users from having to browse through different sections to locate what they need.
MORE PUBLIC INFORMATION AND TRANSPARENCY
The renovation includes a reorganized Transparency Portal, with information on purchases and contracting, salaries, budget execution, and economic indicators of the municipality. At the same time, it facilitates access to the Digest and the Official Gazette to consult municipal regulations.
The site also incorporates information from the Deliberative Council, with sessions, agendas, and videos, expanding the possibilities for consultation on institutional activity.
Regarding tourism, content on the city's main attractions was added through an interactive map, information on the Carnival and the airport, and versions in English and Portuguese, with the purpose of facilitating access to the local offer for visitors from different places.
Likewise, the historical content of the previous website was migrated to the new platform, including news, official gazettes, galleries, and documents, so that this material remains available for consultation.
PUBLIC COMMUNICATION CENTERED ON THE RESIDENT
From the Undersecretariat of Communication and Press, the contribution to the project was guided by three central concepts: a website centered on the resident, clearer public communication, and greater accessibility to information and transparency.
In this sense, work was done especially on the design, the organization of content, and the navigation experience, with the goal of making municipal information easier to find, understand, and use.
In this way, the new website seeks to consolidate itself as a public service tool and one of the main institutional channels for accessing information, facilitating both the carrying out of procedures and the knowledge of the municipality's decisions, services, and activities.
The launch of the new portal represents one more step in the modernization of the Municipality's digital channels, with the goal of bringing the local State closer to residents through more organized information, accessible consultation tools, and services available online.
