During the celebration, certificates and gifts were presented to the teachers who are part of the Municipal School Support Program and the Municipal Literacy Program “Aprender Sin Límites”, as a way to recognize a task that transcends the teaching of content and also involves accompanying, listening, motivating, and generating new opportunities.
The meeting was attended by the Municipal Vice President and President of the Honorable Deliberative Council of Concordia, Lic. Magdalena Reta de Urquiza; council members Verónica Del Boca and Celeste Fuscado; the Secretary of Human Development, Prof. Carlos Gatto; the Undersecretary of Social Development, Roberto Niez; and the Director of Education, Franco Alcoba.
During the day, the authorities highlighted the work carried out by the teaching teams and the importance of strengthening these non-formal education spaces that complement and enhance educational trajectories.
In this sense, the Secretary of Human Development Carlos Gatto, especially highlighted the value of the daily work of his colleagues and pointed out that “teaching is much more than transmitting knowledge: it is accompanying, listening, having patience, explaining again, motivating, and believing in the possibilities of each student”.
The celebration also featured an artistic moment by the Music Area of the Undersecretariat of Education and Culture, who offered a presentation specially prepared to pay tribute to the teachers.
The Municipality of Concordia reaffirmed its commitment to continue supporting and strengthening educational policies, recognizing that education is built collectively and that each teacher, from their position, contributes to transforming realities.
