Next Monday, December 29, at 8:00 PM, the Grandparents' Jubilee will be held at the San Antonio de Padua Cathedral, a celebration especially dedicated to senior citizens, in a setting of faith, gathering, and gratitude.
The proposal invites the community to share a moment of reflection and recognition, valuing the history, experience, and fundamental contribution of grandparents in the construction of the social and family fabric.
Under the motto “Happy are those who do not see hope fade away,” the meeting seeks to reaffirm support, respect, and care for older people, promoting spaces for inclusion, support, and community participation.
The Jubilee is organized by the Nuestra Señora de Lourdes Grandparents' Home, the Department of Senior Citizen Policies, the San Antonio de Padua Cathedral, and the Municipality of Concordia, within the framework of joint actions aimed at strengthening public policies oriented toward the elderly.
The activity is open and free, and families, institutions, and residents are invited to be part of this special celebration.
