The Municipality of Concordia carried out the Furniture Assembler Course, a training proposal aimed at providing concrete tools for labor insertion and the strengthening of trades in the community.
The activity took place in the Labor Training Room of the Civic Center and was attended by residents interested in acquiring practical knowledge related to furniture design and assembly.
The course was led by Martín Coduri, a specialist with extensive experience in the field, who shared technical content and methodologies applied to furniture manufacturing, promoting learning through practice.
During the session, participants were able to incorporate fundamental notions about materials, tools, and assembly processes, in a space designed to enhance skills and generate job opportunities.
The initiative was coordinated with the private sector, counting on this occasion with the support of the company Bourlot “Centro de Cortes, Placas y Herrajes”, which provided the materials and supplies necessary for the development of the course, thus strengthening the link between training and local production.
In this regard, the Director of Employment, Juan Manuel Scarzello, highlighted: “These types of training sessions are fundamental because they provide concrete tools for work. The coordination with the private sector allows us to improve the quality of the proposals and generate more complete training instances, linked to the real demands of the labor market.”
Likewise, he added: “From the municipality, we continue to bet on training in trades as a direct path to labor insertion, accompanying residents in the construction of opportunities and the development of their own projects.”
As a closing to the day, a raffle was held for the piece of furniture assembled during the training among the attendees, generating a moment of participation and integration among those who were part of the course.
This activity is part of the Infrastructure and Development Plan towards the Bicentennial, a comprehensive strategy that seeks to strengthen the growth of Concordia through training, job creation, and support for the different productive sectors.
The organizers highlighted the importance of continuing to promote these training spaces that strengthen the local productive framework and generate new opportunities for the community.
