This Friday, the Furniture Assembly Course using boards concluded, a training session promoted by the Secretariat of Productive Development of the Municipality of Concordia, in coordination with the Center for Forest Industrial Development (CeDeFI) and with the collaboration of the company EGGER regarding materials.
The furniture made during the course will be donated to a local institution, contributing to the strengthening of community spaces.
The training took place at the CeDeFI warehouse, located in front of the EGGER industrial plant, and was aimed at workers in the furniture and forestry sector, technical students, entrepreneurs, and residents interested in acquiring new tools and productive skills with a strong local and innovative imprint.
The Secretary of Productive Development, Eng. Federico Schattenhofer, highlighted the importance of continuing to create training spaces linked to local production: “These types of training sessions not only provide real tools for work, but also strengthen the value chain and allow us to build a Concordia that produces, grows, and generates opportunities for its people.” He also recalled that the products made in each training session are donated to institutions, schools, homes, and clubs in the city.
The Secretariat remarked that these actions are part of a strategic line that promotes the strengthening of regional value chains and the coordination between the public sector, the private sector, and the community.
With actions like this, Concordia continues to promote training, production, and joint work between institutions, companies, and the community, consolidating local development.
