In light of some publications disseminated in recent hours that could lead to erroneous interpretations, the Permanent Carnival Entity considers it necessary to clarify that in Concordia there are no plans to authorize the Municipal Corsódromo nor to hold parades or mass events with the participation of the comparsas during the summer.
Precisely, taking into consideration the scenario determined by the COVID-19 pandemic and the fundamental importance of complying with preventive measures, work is being done on the development of an agenda of activities for the long weekend of Carnival, which will mostly be carried out in a virtual format through social media.
With the same premise of respecting current regulations, the possibility of thematic exhibitions at the Tourist Information Center and similar actions in other parts of the city is also being analyzed, without this implying or promoting the concentration of the public or attendees.
In this way, without parades with thousands of participants or large events, the goal is to keep the passion and joy of this traditional Concordia festival alive through virtuality.
