The Municipality of Concordia invites the community to participate in a new edition of the Paseo del Río Fair, which will take place next Sunday, March 8, starting at 6:00 PM, in the Playa Los Sauces area of the city's Costanera.
On this occasion, the fair will have a special edition in the framework of International Women's Day, with the participation of local entrepreneurs, artisans, and producers who will offer a wide variety of products, including handicrafts, regional goods, and gastronomic options.
The activity is organized by the Undersecretariat of Development and Entrepreneurship and aims to create a meeting space for Concordia families, while promoting the work of social economy entrepreneurs.
Andrea Popelka, organizer of the fair, highlighted that “this proposal seeks to continue strengthening commercialization spaces for local entrepreneurs, allowing them to showcase and sell their products in such an emblematic place of the city as the Costanera”.
Likewise, she pointed out that “in this special edition for Women's Day, we also want to recognize the work and effort of many female entrepreneurs who are part of the fair and who, with their projects, boost the local economy”.
During the day, there will also be a live show by Ani Viera starting at 8:00 PM, with animation by Mario Cáceres, adding music and entertainment to accompany the proposal and enjoy a special afternoon with the family.
From the organization, they invite residents and tourists to come and enjoy an afternoon outdoors, supporting the entrepreneurs and sharing time with family in one of the most frequented spaces in the city.
