Within the framework of joint work between the Municipality and Enohsa, the Decentralized Sanitary Works Agency (EDOS) is carrying out sewer network extension works at the intersection of Ituzaingó and Mario Gatto streets.
This week, work was carried out to connect new pipes to the existing ones at the intersection of Mario Gatto and Ituzaingó streets, as part of the preliminary work for the paving of Mario Gatto street. "What was done in this project was to create the new networks and connections so that the asphalt could be laid without any subsequent issues. It is part of a project to extend and improve the drinking water network service," stated the head of EDOS, Jorge Mendieta.
"It is a direct benefit for the residents of this sector of the city, and an advance in the Water and Sanitation Plan project that we began to implement first under the administration of Enrique Cresto, and which we are now continuing with the decision of mayor Alfredo Francolini, to improve the quality of service throughout the city," expressed Mendieta.
At the same time, he pointed out that EDOS "is carrying out sewer works in the Las Viñas, Llamarada, and San Juan neighborhoods." And that "this week, the water and sewer works for the San Pantaleón neighborhood and sewer works in the La Roca neighborhood were put out to tender," among other works being promoted in different neighborhoods of the city.
