During Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, the Concordia Convention Center hosted the Expo Textil Concordia – Textile & Graphic Industry 2026, an event organized by the private sector that brought together entrepreneurs, workshops, workers, and leaders linked to the textile and graphic industry.
The proposal was developed under the concept “Ideas that boost your business” and featured an extensive agenda of talks, training sessions, activities, and fashion shows, creating a space intended for the exchange of knowledge, training, and the generation of new opportunities for those who are part of the sector.
During the two days, different topics related to the development of entrepreneurship and productive activity were addressed, including leadership, sustainability, graphic design, industrial knitting, embroidery, production management, sublimation, textile identity, fibers, and public speaking.
The Expo also included proposals related to different trades and experiences linked to the industry, allowing for the discovery of tools, techniques, and alternatives applicable to the development of entrepreneurship and productive projects.
The meeting was attended by mayor Francisco Azcué, who highlighted the importance of strengthening spaces that allow for linking the private sector with productive development policies.
“From the Municipality, we want to support those who produce, undertake, and generate work. These types of meetings show everything that exists in Concordia and allow those who have a project to train, build connections, and find new opportunities to grow,” pointed out Azcué.
For his part, the Secretary of Productive Development Sebastián Arístide valued the holding of the Expo and the joint work with the private sector: “for us, it is important to support initiatives that are born from the productive sector itself. Training and the exchange of experiences are fundamental tools to improve the competitiveness of our ventures and continue strengthening the productive framework of Concordia,” expressed Arístide.
Among the speakers were Lorena Aguilar, Mariana Rossi, Flor Tristán, Gastón García (La École), Carolina Arce and Omar, Luis Otamendi, Iván Ibarra, Gabriel Lavacelli, Virginia Locaso, María Laura Ascargorta, Andrés Aguilar, and Tramagua, among other leaders.
The Expo Textil Concordia allowed for strengthening the bond between different actors in the textile and graphic industry, making ventures visible, and generating a space to share knowledge, experiences, and tools linked to the development of productive projects.
From the Secretariat of Productive Development of the Municipality of Concordia, the importance of supporting initiatives promoted by the private sector that contribute to strengthening the local productive framework, promoting training, and generating new opportunities for entrepreneurs and workers was highlighted.
